Rotary Geared limit switches are directly attached to the gearbox of the motor with a shaft and a coupling. The coupling helps in relieving stress to the shaft of the limit switch in case of Misalignment . The movement of the gearbox rotates the shaft of the limit switch .
Working of GRLS 48 Ratio
Rotary Geared Limit Switch GRLS is used to trip motor supply when the moving loads reach the extreme end positions of working zone. The driving motion is transmitted by worm gear through worm shaft. The rotations and movements are transmitted to switches by adjustable cams.
Applications of Rotary Limit Switch
Rotary Limit Switches are used whenever you need to count the angle or number of rotations and stop a rotating piece of equipment when it reaches it rotating limit.
